Welcome to us!
Cederberg School is an F-9 school located near nature and close to the mountains. The school is situated in the heart of Föllinge with direct access to cross-country ski trails, a nice sports hall, and a newly renovated swimming pool. Our school currently has about 90 students from preschool to ninth grade. We are building a school for the future and are looking for dedicated staff who want to be part of that journey. We are seeking confident teachers who want to work collaboratively and develop the school together with students and colleagues from preschool to ninth grade.
The Department of Education has about 800 employees. The department's operations extend throughout the municipality and include preschool, primary school F-9, adapted primary school, after-school care, food services, and cleaning, mother tongue, and library services.
A Day as a Teacher in Wood and Metal Craft
We are looking for an engaged and confident teacher in wood and metal craft who wants to help create a stimulating, structured, and inclusive learning environment for our students. As a craft teacher, you will be responsible for teaching in grades 3-9.
You will plan, implement, and evaluate teaching with a focus on students' learning, creativity, and development.
The position involves close collaboration with colleagues and active participation in the school's overall work.
Your Competence
- You are a certified teacher in wood and metal craft for primary school (or have equivalent qualifications). Certification in additional subjects is an advantage.
- You have a secure and clear classroom leadership and the ability to build good relationships with students.
- You work with clarity, structure, and predictability in teaching.
- You have varied teaching that meets students' different needs and conditions.
- You have a conscious and professional approach to assessment, where formative assessment and clear knowledge requirements are a natural part of teaching.
- You are responsible, flexible, and contribute to a positive work climate.
Additional Information
The position is a permanent part-time employment at 50% with the possibility of full-time. We apply a 6-month probationary period starting in August 2026.

Krokom Municipality is making a special effort related to particularly hard-to-recruit professional groups in certain geographical areas. Cederberg School is part of this initiative. Therefore, a salary supplement of 3000 SEK/month for full-time work will be provided for certified teachers hired for this position.
